Shannon Miller. She is the best American gymnast in history, male or female. She has been National Champion 6 times, World Champion 5 times, and finally, after barely losing the AA gold in 92, became Olympic Champion on beam in 1996. In December 2001, Shannon competed in the Reese's Cup, her final competition, in her new hometown, Houston, TX. Her last routine was on beam, where she got all perfect 10s! I wish her the best of luck in everything she does!! Here is my tribute to an amazing gymnast and a great person.
